 As
a home stager, you help Home Owners & Realtors to sell their homes
quickly and for the best price. You'll entice potential buyers by
highlighting a home's best features and making it feel spacious,
warm, and inviting inside and out.
As a stager, you are a home merchandising
expert. You help clients prepare their homes for sale. For occupied
homes, the staging process involves de-cluttering, depersonalizing,
redesigning rooms, improving curb appeal, and addressing necessary
repairs. For vacant homes, you are most usually working with empty
rooms; transforming them into warm, inviting spaces where
prospective home buyers can visualize themselves living and enjoying
a lifestyle. The goal is to make the property as appealing as
possible to wide range of potential buyers by maximizing its
attributes and making it appear large, bright, clean, and inviting.
One of the most rewarding things about being a home stager is that
you get to use your creativity and have fun while you are working
and getting paid at the same time!
We Offer Two
Opportunities To Work With Us:
Currently, through our parent company,
PHS,
Paradise Home Staging - (click here to visit the site), we
have opportunities for both qualified, experienced Home Stagers, as
well as for people who are new to the industry, to join our
Home Staging team on a Freelance basis.
Opportunity
ONE - For
Qualified, Experienced, Certified Home Stagers (Note - we do not
currently have openings for Interior Designers - we only have
openings for Home Stagers.)
(If you are new to Home Staging, please skip this section and scroll
down to Opportunity Two.)
For those of you who already
have previous, "professional level" home staging experience: we are willing to add
qualified and experienced stagers to our team to provide work as
it becomes available. We pay between $15 - $25/Hr minimum, and
sometimes more, depending on the home and available budget. If you already have
substantial professional Home Staging
experience, AND if you are currently Certified as a Home Staging
Professional through a recognized Home Staging course of study, such as ASP, HSR, CSP,
Etc., then we would be happy to set up an appointment for an
interview to meet you in person, to talk and to consider adding you
to our team. Note: You must
currently live within the State of Hawaii, or in one of our
other service areas in order to be considered for work with us.
If you are planning to move to Hawaii in the near future, that's
okay, but we cannot add you to our team until after you are actually
here and we meet with and talk to you in person.

- if you do not have previous Home Stager experience and certification - Local,
Hawaii Based Home Stager Training & certification IS Available
(Interior Design
does not qualify because it is different then Home Staging):
we now offer Two home stager training and certification courses
locally here on Oahu. These courses offer you a way to learn the
science behind
home staging and they give you an opportunity to get started in this industry on a professional
level. You will gain a tremendous amount of
knowledge & Information that will be very useful and valuable if
you are truly serious about becoming involved in this line of work. Learning and
receiving this training is an
investment in yourself and in your own personal future. We do charge a fee for this
training though (see below) because of the time involved (a
minimum of 22 hours) and because this training has a true and
tangible value. This is more then just a job opportunity because you
can take this education and apply it anywhere at any time in your
future. This training can help you even if you want to start your
own Home Staging business, or if you want to be better qualified to
work for another company.

HHSPC Staging Pro™ Certification
Program:
Our HHSPC Staging Pro™ Certification is issued here locally in
Hawaii, by the Hawaii Home Stagers Protégé Club, to students who
successfully complete this personalized, one-on-one Home Stager
Training course. This course consists of a minimum of at least a total of 22 hours of
training in "the Theory & Science of Home Staging", including two
afternoon in the field workshops looking at and touring both staged and
un-staged homes in various O'ahu neighborhoods, and two virtual home
staging sessions. As projects become available (depending on how you
are doing in your training), you may also be given opportunities to
go into actual homes; to help with staging evaluations,
consultations and presentations, or to do actual paid staging work.
The hands-on experience that we provide is all local, here in
Hawaii. We believe that local market knowledge and training is one
of many essential and invaluable resources and advantages that make our local Hawaii based home stager training program stand apart
from mainland based classes and on-line home study courses. Also,
our course is MUCH LESS expensive and is easier to take than the other
courses out there.
HHSPC Home Stager Designation Course: This
course is also Hawaii based and provides individualized, personal
one-on-one training. You will receive a total of 8 hours
training, including one open house workshop session and one virtual

What Does It Cost?
Our Home Stager HHSPC Staging Pro™ Certification course costs only
$799.00. You may pay for this course in two payments if
you need to. Our HHSPC Home Stager Designation Course is only
$399.00.
Take into consideration that our courses are taught here locally, in
Hawaii, that you receive One-On-One In-Person Student / Tutor Training (not
available with any other Home Stager Training course anywhere), and then compare our fees to the other courses out there. ALSO - We are the ONLY organization
that currently offers Home Stager Training, locally, in Hawaii.

Your course includes:
Personalized, One-On-One individualized
training
You actually get your very own Personal Tutor; a local,
professional stager who will work directly with you on a one-on-on
level throughout your training. For each training session, your
tutor will meet with you personally at our office in Punalu'u (Oahu),
or provide your training on the phone and online (or some
combination of the two - whatever works best for you). This allows
for a better training experience and very flexible scheduling that
can accommodate the individual needs of each student. If you have a
full or part time job, children to take care off, are a student
taking classes, or if you have other things going on in you life
that make taking a course like this challenging when it comes to
time and schedules we can and are willing to work with you.
Comprehensive Home Stager Training
We will teach you the nuts and bolts of the Home Staging Process -
in other words, you will learn "The Science of Home Staging".
You will not find this anywhere else. No other course,
anywhere, teaches the same material that we cover! Anyone
can "stage a home", but getting the desired results is an entirely
different story. In order to successfully stage a home, there are
specific goals that need to be achieved and techniques that must be
employed. As home stagers, we implement proven strategies in order
to achieve these goals.
Some other things that are worth mentioning and taking note of here...
Interior Design Vs. Home Staging: Many people do not understand that Home Staging is NOT the same as
Interior Design. Home Staging and Interior Design, although there
are interests, talents and skills that cross over, are two very
different businesses and the processes that are used in each are
very different form one another. Because of this, Interior
Design experience and (or) training is not enough to be a successful
and competent Home Staging Professional. If you are an
Interior Designer who is interested in expanding into Home Staging,
you should look upon additional Home Stager Training and
certification as an
opportunity to broaden your horizons and to add to your already
existing skill set. Learning new skills is something that is
always beneficial and it will make you better at what you do.
Staging Is More Than Just Furniture or Accessories: Contrary to what
many people
believe, Home Staging is not about just bringing in a few pieces of
furniture, or about throwing in a few plants and placing a few
towels on the racks, or about adding a few knickknacks here and
there - there is much more to staging a home then that. Home Staging
is also not just simply de-cluttering and helping people to visualize
living in the home. There is much more that you need to know in
order to pull everything together and to make the staging process
successful. Additionally, Home Staging is a part of the Real Estate
Industry, so you need some knowledge in this area too. We teach you
what you need to know; this course goes beyond just the obvious things that everyone
already knows about Home Staging.
Teaching you The Science of Home Staging is our primary focus and
this is what gives our course its true value. This is also
what sets our course apart from all the others!!!
Video & Multimedia Materials
Throughout the course, we make extensive use of various videos and
other multimedia training materials in order to help you in the
learning process. These include interviews with professionals, news
reports so you get to see what's going on in the industry in other
areas of the country, a 3-part series on how to set a property apart
from all the rest in a competitive real estate market, do it
yourself video guides and more.
Forms & Templates
We provide you with a variety of different forms and templates that
you can use in your professional work. These include: In-Home Walk
Through Property Evaluation Forms, Furniture & Accessory Inventory
Forms, Consultation Report Templates for vacant and occupied homes,

Business Training Option
Our main course focuses on the Art & Science of Home Staging and it
is geared toward learning this specific aspect of the trade.
However, if your goal is to start your own Home Staging business, we
will soon also be offering an additional add-on course that will
teach you how to do this. Our Home Stager Business Training add-on
will add to your HHSPC Staging Pro™ Designation to also give you our
HHSPC Staging Pro Business™ Designation and it will teach you how to
set up and register your Staging Business, how to advertise and sell
your services, how to price and charge for your work, how to
negotiate with vendors, how to manage projects and accounts, and
more. For those who desire to operate their own staging business,
this will take things to the next level. We will update our website
