Home
Staging has always been a passion of mine and something that I have
very much enjoyed for a very long time. It's
been almost 30 years that I've been in this profession, in one form
or another, along with my other passion, audio and video / radio and
television broadcasting (the photo to the left is of me while on-air
at Honolulu's KIKI AM the Oldies Channel in 1990). Back in the
early days of staging, the term wasn't very well known or
popularized yet, but it was very much alive and well. I started out
staging homes with my father, who was a real estate developer and
investor back in Oregon
in 1980. |
My father purchased homes, including
mobile homes, and then often times would remodel them.
After the remodeling, we would then put these homes back up
on the market for resale and It was my job to take care of the
staging. The concept worked very, very well.
It's been over 3 years now since my partner, Jay Deluz and
I first opened the doors to Paradise Home Staging. I am the
business manager and Jay is a
real estate investor on the "Big
Island" of
Hawaii. Jay is also our chief financial officer / investor. We currently operate our staging
businesses, Paradise Home Staging, and The Hawaii Home Stagers
Protégé Club from our main office in Hauula / Punaluu, on Oahu's
North
Windward Shore.
In addition to serving the island of O'ahu, we also offer services
in Seattle, Washington; Eugene, Oregon; and, soon to come, various luxury property
neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area.
Beyond Paradise Home Staging, we additionally own and operate
the Hawaii Home Stagers Protégé Club (HHSPC), and a
digital video production studio. We leverage the tools of our
production business to specialize in the creation of real estate video presentations, infomercials, and
other types of audio & video production that is targeted for distribution on
DVD, the web and for television broadcast.
Paradise Home Staging first began offering services on the Ewa side
of the island of O'ahu; staging homes in Ewa Beach, Kapiolai, Pearl
City and the surrounding areas. Today, we also focus in the high-end
Luxury Home market and we work in areas such as Kahala, Hawaii Loa Ridge,
Hawaii Kai, Kailua and all areas in between. We operate with a small
team of staging professionals who possess a wide range of various
skills and talents. We truly love being in a position to work
in all of the many beautiful homes out there. Having the
freedom to be creative and to enjoy our work, while, at the same
time helping to create a win/win situation for realtors, home
sellers and home buyers, is a total joy.
